In October 2020, the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) jointly launched an AI innovation call for projects. The main goal was to strengthen research collaborations between France and Germany in the AI domain. Out of numerous submissions, they selected 21 research projects, granting a total funding of 12 million euros.
Among the selected projects, CRYPTO4GRAPH-AI stands out as a collaborative effort led by INRIA (D. Pointcheval)/Fraunhofer FIT/Cosmian. This project aims to explore advanced cryptographic technologies to ensure the confidentiality of enterprise knowledge graphs and AI data.
CRYPTO4GRAPH-AI utilizes cutting-edge cryptography techniques to secure sensitive information related to knowledge graphs and AI from unauthorized access. This project holds great promise for enhancing data privacy and security in various sectors for both French and German industries.
The financial support from ANR and BMBF enables the collaboration to delve deeper into research and development, fostering innovative solutions that protect valuable data from potential threats. This joint effort emphasizes the significance of international cooperation in advancing AI and driving technological breakthroughs.
